Wash thoroughly with soap water and let it air dry. It will remove Odour and keep it fresh.

No, they don't if care is taken to wash it thoroughly.
But there are plastic bottles that say “BPA-free”.
It is better to avoid plastic bottles (including “BPA-free” ones!).
BPA-free plastics that contain BPA substitutes like BPS, BPF, BPAF, BPZ, BPP and are equally bad since they leach chemicals causing genetic and hormonal disruption.

Yes, Stainless Steel water bottles are ECO-friendly, i.e they are recyclable unlike the plastic bottles and last longer.

Yes, Stainless Steel bottles retain the heat of water much longer than glass or plastic bottles.
